Kulturhuset i Virserum is a vibrant cultural center and meeting point in the heart of Småland. Located in the historic former "Ordenshuset," the venue offers a theater and cinema hall, spaces for events, courses, and meetings, as well as small offices. The center provides a wide variety of activities, including theater, film screenings, yoga, dance, debates, workshops, courses, and design, all characterized by great diversity. Kulturhuset collaborates with organizations such as Riksteatern and Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan, and participates in the national network of cultural centers. The building retains much of its 1950s character and has recently undergone renovations. The main hall (A-salen) is a modern theater and cinema auditorium with 108 seats. In addition, there are venues for both smaller and larger events. The Kulturhuset i Virserum Association owns and runs the house on a non-profit basis and welcomes new members. In addition to cultural events, the house is available for rent for private parties and gatherings. Kulturhuset is central to the lively cultural life of Virserum and is an active partner in local and regional culture projects.
