Dackestupet is an outdoor activity center located in Virserum, offering a wide range of winter and summer activities. In winter, you’ll find alpine skiing with three slopes, a main lift and children’s lifts, a family slope with jumps and rails, and a popular sledding hill next to the grill hut "Dackegrottan". For cross-country skiing, there is Dackeslingan, a 1.2 km artificial snow trail with easy and more technical sections. The center offers a ski school and many activities for children and youth via Hjortens Alpina. Ski rental and a café are available on site. The facility is non-profit and run by Hjortens SK, situated by Lake Virserum south of the town.
